exactly, but im seeing 3-4k in body and paint alone
I'm a painter and body man by trade. Although I can only see the drivers side if the rest of the car is in that condition I'd say it would take about 60 hours of body work at $75/hr, another 8 in the paint booth at $125/hour, 10 hours in finishing/detail work at $80/hour. Figure another $500 for consumables, maybe $800 for replacement panels depending on how bad it is. Thats a rough estimate based on if we did it. Remember though, it would be perfectly straight, done right, no orange peel, and would look better than the day FoMoCo put it together. Keep in mind though that $7600 is only a rough estimate. Without seeing the whole car it's hard to give a totally accurate estimate.
who is lookin at this piece of crap? i sure hope it isn't the retard with the dumb look on his face, but i guess that would explain his fantastic taste
May not be a bad deal for $1200 or so if you are thinking of long term project.
Still going to take lots of $$$ but they are not making any new 5.0's and the supply of cars is getting smaller all the time.
Was on 2 wrecking yards down here last weekend and the SN95 types are out-numbering foxes now......
