Mines a canadian cobra/GT and its an 1986.When i went and gt it registered it came up as a cobra GT.I told them its wasnt a cobra and they changed what comes up on the registration to a GT.Saved a lil bit of coin but not much

i just totaled a 90GT..It wa stitled a mustang/cobra GT...when researching found out the canadian gt's were titled as cobras...

yes the canadian stangs are titled cobras so yeah you can have a 87 cobra gt , it just doesn't have cobra options like the 93 just in ink only .

yep, Canadian GT's were called Gt cobras, like a few other people have said.

If its a "GT Cobra", you've got nothing to worry about, it just means it's a GT mustang built in Canada as opposed to the U.S.,specs wise, its the exact same as a U.S. GT with minor exceptions such as Km/h for speedo instead of Miles per Hour mines a GT Cobra, and from what i;ve seen its a bit more rare.

I had to argue with some guy on a you tube video about this. He said since he is a certified tech and has owned like 8 mustangs he knows everything about it.
