Did you say 2.3 liter holy **** even better 250 shot 4:88 gears and slicks leave at 4000 shift at 5500[>:] it will at least make at leastone or two passes before it blowsupand run 14.5s.Nowthats something Ive never ever done and would like to see or hearabout happening.Then after that pull it out and put in a real motor.But why not have fun first

nice! ill get a rear end this weekend. I dont understand what you mean PLB about the 4banger with T5 tranny. does it allready have the T5 and i can just get a rear end and V8? or do you mean i need to swap tranny and motor at same time cause 4 banger wont run long with T5? it would be easier for me if i could do them in stages....thx for the help!!!

 

the t-5 transmission was built differently for 4cyl mustangs. i think they were only rated for like 230lb/ft of torque, while the v-8 t-5 was rated for 300 lb/ft , so if you upgrade toa bigger engine i would swap the trans as well
