Yeah so
I had to switch to mustang 4 cyl springs up front. The nose was sitting about 3 inches above the rear. Switching to the springs have helped me out a lot with hooking on street tires. It will actually transfer weight now. So far i have taken a bunch of weight off of the nose. I moved the battery to the back, took out the sway bar, cut out the hood brace, took out the front bumper and mounts, removed the smog pump, A/C, and power steering. Thats really about it so far. I meen the interior is gutted behind the front seats. It weighs in at 2900 lbs even. I still have a bunch to take out. Just a few suggestions for yall.
Since you are now lacking a front sway bar, have you noticed any difference in ride quality on the highway. Or under any driving circumstances. I was thinking of doing the same, but I want my car to handle when I need it to.
I removed the front sway bar on my 91 GT, it handles nice still but it was lowered 2" all the way around. If the car is at stock height, I bet it would have been a lot more squirrley. Just keep it on, it doesn't do much.
yea... for the record, and just for another 1st hand opinion. i have NO SWAY BAR, 4banger springs and strange struts... it handles better then stock w. the struts tightened down... w. them loose its like a boat. but its still not bad at all.
