Nice find. I thought the same thing about the deal I got on my wheels. Figured I'd try the 28's out cuz they were part of the package. No good w/ 3.73's. If you plan to run that sized tire w/ any success, you need at least 4.10's and maybe even 4.30's. And traction def won't be a problem w/ those tires.

Oh here's a good example. One of the vids I posted I ran a black notch. I was chatting a lil w/ the guy while we were waiting to run. He had M/T ET drag radials, 275/60/15 (28" tires). Beautiful car. It had a cam in it but not sure of anything else. He was running 4.10's. His et was a 15. something. I don't know if hes was stick or auto either. Here's the run

Thanks for chiming in, i'm not sure what radial to go with now. I'm not in a rush to get them but i'm probably just going to remove the Hoosiers and put them right back up on ebay or see if somebody wants to buy them cheap around here.

Yeah, if anybody has a good recommended rear tire size let me know! The fronts are 205/60/15.

What do you think that 275/60/15 Nitto Drag Radials will look like on the set-up above. That isn't my car but the Weldswill be on my hatch!

That is still a 28" tire... Go with a 275/50/15 that's what I have on my 91. Here's a pic of how they fit.

What size are your rims and what tires are you running up front?

The rear wheels are 15x8 with a 5.5" back spacing and a 275/50/15 BFG Drag Radial. The fronts are 15x4 with 165/15 futura pep-boys tires.
