so i am gonna head and go with this set up but when i buy the intake i am also gonna get a 70mm throttle body can i get my stock maf calibrated to the 24 lbs and 70mm tb or do i havce to buy a new one
your stock maf is 55mm... throw it away
buy an SN-95 maf and get a chip for the car that will alter your injector high and low slopes to accept 24# injectors

Here is a link to a page I found today that helped answer some questions I had about MAF's

http://www.graphicsdept.com/walbro/p...mass/forda.htm

I had 2 MAF the one I got off a 90/91 Mustang Stock
E9ZF-12B579-AA
AFH5503

And one I bought on e-bay that is 70mm and suppose to be for #24 injectors
F1ZF-1213579-AA
AFH5503B

What I found from that site is that they both are for #19 injectors when applied to a Mustang
the one you would need for #24 is
F1SF-12B579-AA (93 Cobra)
AFH70-02

or
F2VF-12B579-A2A (94/95 Cobra)
AFH70-04

On a different message board I found on the same search shows that different models can use the same MAF module.
This is what I copied and pasted to a text file for reference, it was posted on an ebay listing. I only assume the info is correct.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ford pt# is F1ZF-12B579-AA. According to my cross reference, this meter will fit the following vehicles:
1988-1993 Mustang 5.0L (except Cobra and `93 California)
1991-1993 Ford Thunderbird & Mercury Cougar w/5.0L or 3.8L (except `93 5.0 California)
1989-1990 Ford Taurus w/3.0L
1991-1995 Mercury Sable w/3.0L
1991-1995 Ford Taurus & Mercury Sable w/3.8L
1991-1995 Taurus SHO
1991-1994 Lincoln Continental w/3.8L
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
hope this is helpfull

jesus f*cking christ the depth of arrogance and/or stupidity in this section can amaze me
enough to punch babies? [8D]

@ the OP I too am in college and decide to just wait it out until I can afford the good stuff [8D] If you HAVE to go alittle faster, try finding an explorer 5.0 in the junkyard, (Heads and Intake) can be had pretty cheap, pick up a decent cam(TFS1) and your set

It was several month ago when I bought it for my future set up so yeah that is the way I look at it as far as my future plans but it does give me a 70mm MAF to use with my current set up better than the stock one. The price wasn't too bad total was less than $50. One good thing is sense I do have a 70mm MAF body all I need now is the correct module, sense I can now verify the module numbers. Sometimes you have to get kicked to learn how to avoid the next one.

But hopefully now others can benefit from the info I posted here.
