Default F-150 5.0

I have a '92 F-150 that I am getting ready to fix back up. It has a 5.0L 302 in it. I figured I would come here to you guys since I'm more of a 4.6 guy. My question is, how similar is my truck engine to the 5.0 mustang engine? I would like to know if I could use mustang parts like headers and other bolt-onsand stuff. Thanks guys.

yah you can use lots of mustang parts if you wanted to. anything exhaust might end up needing custom midpipe work.

the differences are internal. more torque oriented cam, different firing order, different intake, and thats about it.

Yeah, all of that is abut what I assumed, but thanks for the help.

As for the intake, could I make a mustang intake work? I actually have an old B&M 144 supercharger sitting around, so I may end up using it on the truck. If I did, I was going to use a lower intake manifold for a mustang if I could.
