air hose?

air hose?
i got a used h pipe the other day. my stock h with cats has a tube with an air hose attached to it near the second set of cats. the used off road h pipe does not have a tube to attach this hose to.. what do i do with the hose? not sure if this post should be in general or tech..sorry

Sorry read it wrong, if you have emissions youll have to find a way to cut and weld a piece coming off of your new old h pipe, or get a new o/r h pipe. If youdont have the check leave it off, wont hurt anything.

If you have emissions, that pipe welded into your offroad H pipe will do you no good anyhow. Offroad has no cats which will be an automatic fail if that is hooked up or not! Keep your factory pipe just incase you need to put it back on for emissions, or check to see what your local laws require.

i have to have emissions checked once every 2 years so, i plan on keeping my old cats for that swap every 2 years...just need to know if i should let the tube just hang there or just tie it up some how or what? thanks

I suggest just plugging it somehow to keep dirt and junk from getting inside it and strap it up so it isn't dragging on speedbumps and sh8t. This way when your test comes around you will not have a battle to get it hooked back up.
