This may sound dumb, but the cover over the ashtray in the center console, next to the hand brake will not stay closed. Its really starting to bug me. Has this happened to any one ells? How did you fix it?

There is a spring under the door. Either the spring came off or the door broke. Common problem w/ these. There are repair kits available to fix this. You'll have to remove the console for the repair. it's easy to do also.

join the club, its a normal thing, ive only seen one original still working and its an older guy that owns a mint 93 cobra down the street, there is a kit thats pretty cheap never done it but i imagine it would be a pita.
