ok guys just wandering if anyone on here is using a liberty mustang supply fiberglass hood?? i just saw there ad in the mustang & fast fords magazine and noticed that they aren't to far from me, if there is anyone with one of there hoods how was the fitment and how do u like it??

Just so you wont think your being ignored. No, i have not used one. I would bet if anyone has they will be eager to share their experiences, good or bad. Maybe the right person has not read the post yet.

look at consumer report for company info on products. may not be product specific but it most def clue you in since no one is responding.

I had a champion fiberglass hood on my 86 which is the same thing and I would stay away from them. The hood spider cracked all over the place, had very thin areas. I had to use a lot of fiberglass filler and sanding to get the top of the hood smoth. The edges of the hood had to be trimmed and I couldn't use the factory latch with it like they claimed.

STAY AWAY and save your money.

ok thanks guys looks like i'll be waiting for paint untill i can get anotherhood, anyone have an ho fibertrends hood from late model restoration???

Get a good one from Cervini's or Harwood.

I personally went with a Goodmark steel 2" cowl.
