Cough and Sputter!!!
Hey guys, I'm a little scared because my 95 GT seems to have the hiccups lately. Yesterday and today, I went to go to work, let the car warm up its traditional 5 minutes (I live really close to work, so I don't want to hurt it). I go to get out in traffic, it damn near dies on me, then it starts bucking back and forth until about 2500 RPM, then it finally levels out. When I went to leave work today, same thing, then when the temp gets up there, no problems. I've never had a car hesitate this bad in my life, any suggestions?

Check the EGR and the Igniton system. Sounds like it is running too cold (EGR is there for that and shouldn't be opened until a cruise speed is reached) the same goes for the igniton system. You might have a miss or something that is noticable at lower rpms and seems to go away when the motor is "getting it."

First off, theres kind of no point in letting it warm up. Its a cast iron block with cast iron heads. You cant really temp shock it. Id say for the first mile drive normally and rev it no higher than 3500. After that, let er rip.
It almost sounds to me like you need to "put er through her paces" so to speak. Blow the carbon out. You need to get her hot. And dont worry youre not going to blow a headgasket.
Other than that the only that comes to mind is, tune up. When was the last time you did one? If you cant remember then it needs it. Cap, rotor, wires, plugs and changing the fuel filter couldnt hurt either.

Well, as far as a tune-up is concerned, she's all good there, fresh plugs, 8.5mm pro-core wires, cap and rotor were brand new when I bought it 6 months ago.
As for the miss, wouldn't that throw a code? Because so far, no check engine light.
Running her out has never been a problem, we took an LT1 Camaro earlier this evening from a roll!
How would I be able to tell if the EGR is messed up, and could I just delete it instead?
