the trickflow kit has been recently higher priced by Summit, who makes the kit, due to an outrageous number of sales... they got greedy.
anywhere u find it, its $2495~

for the same money, probably quite a bit less actually, you can build your own HCI combo, with everything you need, plus the accompanying boltons on top, and make quite a bit more power.

a pair of bare(no valvetrain) RHS 180CC heads go for around $740 shipped on ebay, new. You can buy a whole valvetrain for around $700 new. Then you need intake, injectors and MAF, etc.. plan on around another $800 for those items total, new.
total cost right there, around $2200, with 100% new parts.
if you find anything used, take MUCHO $ off that number.

basically, if you found everything i just listed, used, or even new but not used(private seller), you can plan on $1500 or less for the whole shabang.

then add in around $80 for a complete topend gasket/oring kit, and another $100~ for a good set of headbolts(never reuse head bolts, they stretch).
you are way under budget if you take your time and shop accordingly, and your making anywhere from 30-50 more rwhp than the trickflow kit.

there is however, 1 catch.
those heads use bigger valves than stock. the pistons must be checked for PTV(piston to valve) clearance, and more than likely you will find they need a little notching. you have 2 options here.
The notching can be done with the block & bottom end intact in the car, so you can either tow your car to a machine shop and pay full rate, or go to a machine shop and talk to the guy about doing it on the side, at your house. More than likely he will like that idea.

sound good?

ya sounds great but my car has already been converted to maf with recently bought ford racing injectors. But the pieceing together does sound good because i already have a b303 cam that is pretty new i believe. So that sounds good thank you.

I dont know if it matters but i already have a 70mm throttle body, msd 6al ignition, with a b303 cam and roller rockers. So if anyone has suggestions on an intake and heads that would match what i got i would appreciate it.

Get a set of gt40's, they will work with all the parts you already have. You can get a set for around $400 shipped, maybe less, then have them ported and decked....you will have a nice set of heads. Then you can keep you cam and get a new intake. Your TB will work good

Mattdel was saying with a goodH/C/I combo you will need to upgrade your MAF and injectors, not that you will just have to get new ones. Stock stuff isn't enough for a good H/C/I.

That is a nice kit but i am a college kid so i dont know about 2500, but i was wondering if the roller rockers i already have will fit if i got a new set of heads. The heads i have now are heads that are off of a 92 explorer.
