bought 93 5.0 mustang GT for 900 bucks
igot my liscence about a year and a half ago,& bought a 93 mustang GTshortly afterfrom a handicapped auto-trade in lot for 900 bucks. It was in perfect condition exept for the catalytic converter, the wiper blades, and the front hood had some boogers on it. i would like to know the BEST RPMs to upshift at.It seems that when racing, when i shift at ahigher RPMs i lose distance because of the higher RPMs, and shifting earlywont give it that extra boost. I would also like to know of any cheap, reliable, moderate performance upgrades i can buy. thanks

my car falls on its face completely past 5000 rpm's
i suggest shifting somewhere in the yellow rpm's before the redline.
cheap upgrades include gears, nice tune-up, nitrous, etc.. many "cheap" mods out there. just depends what ur lookin for and how far ur willing to take it.

cheap performance upgrades??? that's a good one.........you'll soon learn ..if you want to play you got to pay!!! once you start modding your 5.0 screw no better yet...remove the word cheap from your vocabulary.....when your done modding it like me almost 8 years latter that 250.00 price tag I bought the car for now has a few more zeros added to it!!!![:@]
