RE: Project SBF
Look in trucks, full size ford family car's for a 351. They are everywhere, you wont have trouble finding one. But to build it right, it is expensive, then you have to get susp.,tranny, hell, actually it never ends. I have a drawer full of reciept's that i refuse to look at, it would be depressing.

RE: Project SBF
On a shoe string budget with only drag racing in mind, I'd start with a stock 351, a good automatic, and gear/suspension the hell out of it. The fox chassy has a ton of advantages over that generation F body. You should be at least 200 pounds lighter, and if you're a notch you're a TON lighter. And if you gut it down, you'll still be a ton lighter!

RE: Project SBF
yes get a f4te casting 351w fro ma 94+ ford f-series truck. Bore/stroke it to a 408. get a set of kb 110 (11.3:1 with 62 cc heads)pistons or kb 117 (12.7:1 with 62cc heads)and a set of 1970 351c 4v heads and a boss track intake for the swap. and then you will have tons of power and torque, and the best part is he'll never know what you have. Thats what i am doing
