new body not needed
ok so i looked more in depth today and my rails are rusted on the back but its not a load bearing part of the rail. its only right next to the gas tank. so the body will stay and i need to buy some more parts to play. i cant wait. any suggestions as to what i should do first. im in between having my lower boxes welded (they both are ripped and the uppers were done already) and new upper and lower control arms, or new clutch set up ( it has clutch chatter and the throwout squeeks/knocks.

you need to take care of that rust before it gets worse. and if you have rust on the frame thats no good no matter where it is thats the main structure of the car. its "load bearing" no matter where it is....keeps the car straight.

yea well its at least not through. and yea i will be dropping the gas tank and takink care of the whole underside of the car before winter comes and salt starts goin down. i thought it was all the was rotted but its ok.the paint made it seem thicker.
