LOL yeah right. a buck fitty is an awesome price for dyno time. NO WHERE around here can you find that. Plus, sometimes them jokers don't know what they are doing. I've run across that as well.

Congrats regardless, your car is still hawt!!
Poor guys, you can get 3-4 dyno pulls down here for under $100
with A/F its right at $100

i thought you would have made more hp than that. try going custom grind camshaft. hopefully that will give you that boost over 400.

It is custom grind. The guy i bought heads from had them ported but he believe's the springs are stock. My lift with 1.7 rr is 625/661. Stock springs are not going to handle it. That is why i at 6k i lose power and float the valves. Do's anyone have any suggestions for springs that will handle the cam. I cant find my cam card. I have the grind number's somewhere, if ican find them i will call cam maker and see what he reccomends. If not though, i would appreciate some idea's.

are you suggesting his drivetrain uses 85hp? o_O
Yes I am, and Yes it does. .................. 18% loss is accepted rule of thumb
right but as far as i learned it's not actually a percent that is lost. it doesn't make sense that just b/c the car is making more power than the drivetrain would use more, it would always use the same amount regardless of power being made. no? Stock my drivetrain used roughly 30hp, why would it use mor than that now that i'm making more? doesn't make sense.
