Default 5.0 Upper intake ?

Are the upper intakes on the Crown Vics/Grand Marqe's the same as what is on a Mustang. I know the intake on a Mustang is on the passenger side but can you turn the CV/GM intake around and have it work on the Mustang. Basicaly I need to know if they are the same just bolted onto the lower intake differently.
FYI I'm asking because my local pick and pull has a crap load of these and I was gonna pull the uppers off and Powder coat them and sell them on ebay

If they are the same as the stock 5.0 part, I wouldn't waste my time....you will have more into buying them and powder coating them then what they are worth.

I wouldn't. There are a ton of aftermarket parts out there to buy that will look better and perform better. Maybe others will feel different, but that is just my opinion

The Crown Vic. upper is different, it has a smaller opening from the TB than the 5.0 HO I belive it is only 50mm or 55mm. I had one from the 87 Crown Vic. I pulled my builder block from seen how small it was compared to the Mustang and tossed it in the recycle bin.
