if you have the budget for a 7 sec, car why dont you just buy one done and save yourself $40,000 you can always get a deal on a car with people selling to get out move up or move back. as for someone saying a 7sec car and $100,000 I really dont think you could build the car for thateven ifyou do all the work yourself. once you get pass 8.50 the rules get real strong and the price of cars triples due to the chassis and roll cages. even if you get it built for that then its got to go down the track and I dont think there are to many people the can set the car up to do that around here. Guy why dont you start slow and move up like most of us do/did. go look on racing junk.com they always got deals.

Here's 6.oo set up at a local shop ('72 Chevelle). John (shop owner) told me close to $50,000 just for the chassis set up. The $100,000 price tag is way too low for something that fast. A 7 second car will NOT ever be street legal.

he obviously has no idea how fast 7 seconds is....

i've been in a 9.20's five point oh and i gotta say....damn....
i really dont think i would release that beast on the street....anything faster than a 10 really shouldnt be driven around for the most part.
