So I've always liked the look of this intake better than any other one on the market...but I have a heard a lot of mixed things. I was wondering if anyone has recently installed this intake on their car, and if so what your thoughts are...Thanks.

ive heard alot of mixed things about the ssi too. it seems to be a good intake, and i like the fact that you can get the valve covers off without taking the intake off, but i honestly think its too overrated. my cousin has the intake on his car and it works great, but i would spend the little extra and get the holley systemax

 

I think it is underrated.

It will do fine, just fall the install instructions.

I like the two plenum design, something different.

 

i have heard good and bad about them i don't know any one that is running one to get a straight answere so i am waiting on these guys on here to let us know what they are like

 

I have one and had it on gt40p's and afr 165's with a tfs1 cam,now i have it on afr 185'sw/ a comp xe274hr cam.i have not had anyproblemsyet,

 

r.barn had one I believe, he did not like it

 

there are a couple of fellas around here running these intakes on bone stock cars save for flowmasters and headers and i believe this intake to be overkill on a stone pony what do you all think

i would love to use this intake but from what iv heard its like 50-50 chance of getting a good one.
