i havent seen much reviews on these heads and was just wondering if they are worth the money??? im building a 331 all scat internalls, but wanna just throw some heads on a 306 with deep dome probe racing pistonsin it. what would be a good head for my 331 to breath well....i just wanted to try something diff. i also looked at the brodix 5.0R's....the car is going to be a street strip car...that makes some decent power....any info will help thanks

 

It was either Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords or 5.0 and Super Fords magazine did an enginedyno test with them on a 347 that had 10.5:1 compression, XE 282 camand they made around 450 horsepower. I think they are an excellent head.

 

^^^you are correct!!! in the december 07 editionof MM&FFthey were dynoed on a mock up of a ford racing crate motor now availible..it produced 478 hp and 434 ft lbs flywheel hp

 

From what I have seen Canfeild makes the head for Ford. to Fords spec. And as some may know Canfield got sued for stealing the Old TFS High port designs. So the old high ports rocked and so do the Canfeilds of today.But I think it was ron sharp that said they are great heads and Ron is a big head porter that works with a lot of NMRA racer and I hear is messing around with Roush now also.
