Default Roller Rockers

94 GT Daily Driver, 5 Spd., Edelbrock Performer Heads & Intake, 70mm T/B, 73mm MAF,
E303 Cam,19 Lb. Inj., 1-5/8 Shorty Headers

My question is this - the Edelbrock heads come with 5/16 taps for pedestal type rockers. Obviously the simplest switch to roller rockers would be to use pedestal style. Any comments or experience with the pedestal style - they don't seem to be real common?

they will work for your application they are just not as strong as stud mount as the bolt is 5/16 ve 3/8 or 7/16 on stud mount heads

Thanks for the feedback - I knew what you are saying about bolt size and from the responses I did (or didn't) getthe pedestals should work finefor the RPMs I run.
