Dyno Numbers
I read an article a few months back in one of my car mags. The took the car to a shop that had a dynojet and mustang dyno. They experienced a 5.6% increase in rwhp with the dynojet vs the mustang dyno. I've always read that that the difference is between 4 and 10 percent, according to how the mustang dyno is adjusted.
ya I have seen numbers all over the place, like I said its all relative, I suppose I could take it somewhere else just to get higher numbers or something but I am more concerned about the quality of the tune not the dyno numbers
From what i've read the mustang dyno can give you a more accurate A/F ratio, meaning a better tune. Dyno numbers are crap anyway, the track will tell you how fast it is. Hopefully i can take mine soon.
I'm not sure if the one here is even opening this year....there are a couple a few hours away
none of them are open until may though, so I have a little while for things to break before I get there
