i would never have thought that shorties would be louder, even if just at idle

 

I like the way my shorties sound but wonder how long tubes would sound

 

I couldn't tell much difference when I swapped mine

 

People tell me that since I have switched from equals to LT's that my car got quiter but still kept its aggresiveness but regardless......HP > Sound

 

I like LT's, that might be because they were already on my car when I got it. They have their problems though. The overheated locked up starters that are really fun to get out. They get in the way of the clutch cable and will probably melt it eventually.
