i am looking to get an 84 gt vert that is in good shape and was wondering if the trans mount in these cars are double hump so headers and true duals can be ran ?i have just seen the car in pics over the net i am going to look at it in person wensday and was just wanting to know . i know they are like 175hp stock i am not looking to make mad power with it just open it up to breath a bit better .

thanks guys i wasn't sure if they did or noti don't mind haveing to buy a new trans cross member and thanks for theinfo 83gtragtop i will put it to use . if the car is as good looking in person as it is in the pics i will pick it up .see what you guys think of it http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/625153554.html .
the only known issue with the car is the brake booster is starting to go bad in it . the guy has other listings for it and he has sent more pics to my email so i have seen alot more than just the listing pics .
all comments and sugestions welcome, i was just looking at this for a dd and something for the wife to cruise in while i work on her 88 gt this summer .

not bad.....the heater core in those can be cheated out I believe.....my 85 is a 45 min job

You gotta get a double hump crossmember. Very cheap. I got one that was in good shape for 20 bucks. I haven't put it in yet, but it looks like it will fit perfectly.

Looks alot like mine except for the seats. CFI can be a PITA if you have problems. Looks nice though.
