That mallory box has buttons on the front of it and i can go up on the rev limiter or adjust the two step if i need to. It has a little window on the front that tells me the settings. Its just more of a convienience than anything. The tach is an Auto Meter digital tach that reads driveshaft RPM as well and records each run so it plugs into my laptop. its nice to have everything right there at fingers reach.

Ignition boxes hate heat too. Thats another reason you see alot of them mounted inside the car somewhere.

Got the motor and trans in the car. Decided to change out my ignition box so I will be able to install that next weekend. Had a guy make me a low mount alternator bracket and a bracket for my coil. looks pretty sweet. Here are a few pics from last weekend.
