Default 302 pushrod and roller rocker question

im building a 302 and i have a edelbrock performer intake with gt40p heads. i went to order the roller rockers and pushrods and was told i would have to do a conversion from 3/8s to fit and asked measurement for pushrods with this setup(anyone know length i need in pushrod) and what i would have to do for the roller rocker?

Default RE: 302 pushrod and roller rocker question

I believe the p heads are pedastal mount and as for push rods... time and time again the answer will be the same...you need to buy an adjustable length checker and set valvetrain up to where the roller tip makes a contact pattern on the center of the stem tip..only way to achieve the correct geometry is measure with a length checker
