why e303? my buddy has one and i dont like the way it sounds at all. my suggestion is stay away from the letter cams and get a comp cam.

i was thinking of the e303 or the f303. i just installed the gt40 upper & lower intakes and today i picked up some gt40p heads. why the comp cam, just sound or performance or both? would the cam that comes in the v8 explorers add any power or is it the same as the stock 5.0? sorry to jack your thread but i was going to start the same one.

8-10 hr job but IMO putting a cam in a stock stang without a head upgrade is a waste..H/C/I ALL at once ftw

ill be doing the same swap. ive just heard bad things about the letter cams. and comp for both sound and performance granted they do cost $80 more. but worth it imo. ill be going with the comp xe270hr which is similar to the f303. but the small differences make all the difference. and im using the gt40ps and the explorer intake.

the explorer cam is garbage. way worse than the stock 5.0 cam. also when you switch to thoes heads make sure you swap the springs for ones that will handle ur cam.
