So I now have $1200 and I have a couple things on my mind

Since i hate the aod I was thinkin about doin a 5 speed swap

Or I could put the money into some suspension

Or save or H/C/I

Im really leanin to a 5 speed swap but what do yall think

 

I swapped to a 5 speed years ago on my aod 85 and will never go back.. mine is more street driven and occasional track time seen but IMO go 5 speed unless you bracket race

 

well that kinda helps make up my mind

how much did you spend on everything else other than the transmission

or if i were to leave it an automatic is there a nice valve body to use? Do they work well? Like a lentech valve body?

 

i bought a wrecked 92 lx 5.0 for 500$ bought a new clutch and cable and did the swap. then i took all the left over parts and sold them so the swap ended up free
