i also have a few rust spots...the quarters im not worried about because im replacing both...the doors have a few surface rust spots that im going to sand down but the spot that bothers me is on the passenger side door jam area...its a very small spot...can i just cut out a piece of sheet metal and weld it over ?

i took a few pics of the rust spot i was talking about so u guys can tell me how bad it is and if anybody has an idea of how much it would cost me to get it fixed

Anyway about the adjustments. There is a bolt on the bottom of the fender by the door(shuold be covered by the splash sheild of the fender) and on the inside of the door jam when you open the door. Loosen those and try to get it aligned right. You may have to loosen the back one under the hood also.
