BBK H-Pipe - Help!

BBK H-Pipe - Help!
O.K. , I've got the old stock H-Pipe off the car. Ready to order a
O/R H-Pipe. I'm thinking BBK only because I have BBK equal length shorty
headers already on the car and Flowmasters. I figure the bolt-on will
be pretty straight forward. Here's a few questions I like help with.
1). They say the H pipe has provisions for the Oxygen sensors
Do I need to put them in?
2.) Even though the stock exhaust didn't have gaskets on the
pipes should I use something anyway? I want to make sure
I dont' have any leaks.
3). What do I do with the pipe for the smog pump? I
believe the BBK's have a fitting for that pipe on them but
I can't tell from the pictures. I want to make sure I get all the
right stuff before I attempt installation.
Thanks for your help... I'm new to the mods. and really want to beef up
my stang. I'm not much of a mechanic but trying to learn !!!

RE: BBK H-Pipe - Help!
1. Yes you will want to put them back in otherwise you will throw codes and your car's A/F will be out of whack a little.
2. Mustang exhaust systems are designed to not need gaskets. The ball and socket style connections allow for a leak free design.
3. Most O/R pipes come with a small pipe off the passenger side to connect the EGR to. If you delete the EGR you will need to have this pipe closed off. Most people either crimp and weld or stick in a bolt and weld around the head.
If you do not have emission tests where you are at I would suggest removing the smog equipment to pull out the few extra hidden ponies and to take off a little weight.

Thanks - No E-Check here where I live - they got rid of it in my county a couple
of years ago. I'll probably get rid of the smog pump at some point. Right now
I'm loooking for that mean "growl". Thanks again for the tips.
