valve cover question
i bought some ford racing black with brushed fins "mustang powered by ford" valve covers
im going to be using these with 1.7 ratio rockers
theyre short, i know to make em fit i have to take out the baffle, but both have three peices of the metal with holes to bolt the baffle to, if you understand what i mean, is all i have to do for proper clearance remove the baffle on the pass. side, or do i have to remove all of the rogue stallactites inside the covers too?

Not sure with those but i have 1.6 ratio's and stock fox vc's with thick gaskets cleared mine just fine. So you might be able to leave the baffle's in and just get the thicker gaskets.
^^^sometimes you do! it all depends on the valve cover being used...in your case put some play dough on top of the rockers and set the covers on and measure the crush on the play dough and that'll answer your question
use the permadry blue valvecover gaskets too... they are thick and give more clearance
