Default Power Windows??

Alright so my drivers window has been acting up and won't go up at random times. Today it would not go up for anything and it was raining so I took my door panel off and clicked the button furiously and hit it with a socket handle and it stated to make so noise and offered to go up a couple times then it shot up. Does this mean my motor is gone or could there be something else cheaper gone. Thanks again.

mine both do that. sometimes they just dont want to go up, but if i lean on the door pannel they decide they want to work. No idea whats wrong, but if the fix is that easy, im not going to F with it.

It works again now it does not seem abnormally slow or anything. The only weird noises it made was when it would not go up it made a squeal or screeching sound.

Sounds like the bushings in the motor are shot. Just get the bushings from te dealer or use 6 5/16"-18 nuts in place of the three bushings and never have to worry about them again.

My passenger side window did that working/not working thing for a while, finally quit on me this spring. Checked for voltage at the motor, it was fine. So I got a new window motor off e-bay, like $30-$35 shipped, put it in , easy fix.
