I drove a car today an 88LX to be exact. When I would drive the car off from 1st it would buck as if the gears were loose. I don't know if there is such a thing as "too tall of a gear" for a tranny. I believe the car had 3:73s and I know it does have a 3550 Tremec Tranny. Any ideas what this might be? I am thinking of buying this car. Thanks guys

No, its not that but thanks for your opinion. lol I have been driving stick for over 20 years, I should have but that in as part of my Question!

 

I don't get what your saying. like when you accelerate it hesitates? check u joints, change fuel filter, basic tune up, is there a cel on in the car? i have never heard of the gears being "loose"
