yea, massive loss of back pressure and the car will feel like a turd, and sound like s*** (imo) but if you were to run no mufflers i would say at least run tubing to the back of the car.

we figured that since the stock manifolds exited next to the side of the pan that the hot exhaust might warp or start to melt the pan if we left it on for too long, because the pan was already rusting and had massice rust bubbles on the side of the pan. I told him to change it but he barely had enough money to get all the gaskets for the motor

when i bought my car it had custom straight pipes fitted to where the mufflers and flow tubes connect. i ran it like that for a while untill i upgraded my exhaust. it actualy wasnt that loud, i still had stock cats at that time so im sure that played a huge part. when i got my long tubes and off road x it sounded like a huge turbo diesle or something not to mention the massive amount of torque that was lost so thats when i got mufflers.

Should of wirewheeled the old pan and repainted it if you couldnt replace it.

sorry but no muffs on a 5.0 or almost anyother car is total **** like derby car
sorry advance auto sells the new welded cherry bomb flowmaster knock off heard it on a friends car sounded a shade different not real noticable

As stated before...get some cheap summit mufflers or something for now. Without mufflers your car won't run as well because of the reduced exhaust velocity and it will sound like a gorilla that got kicked in the nuts!!!
