New paint cracking?

I used Dupont paint, and the self etching primer was used on bare metal. I sanded everything off, and just went real light on the coats and it turned out fine. Either that, or I possibly contaminated it somehow. Anyways, thanks for the help guys!

Ive never used self etching primer just epoxy and primer/surfacer so I may be wrong.

yes it contains phosphoric acid, and that why it must be used on bare steel and must be top coated
