Default vibration problem inside

hey i just bought a 89 notch when i got it it was making a nocking sound but i new it was not the motor because it was very inconsistant with the rpms, anyway the motor made a slight vibration i drove the car up the road and it made a sound like something broke and the nocking sound is now gone but the vib is much worse. i have not had time to pull the t5 out yet but the previous owner just put a new clutch in also the mechanic that did it said the clutch fork was no good. at first i thought i was a bad c/f but now im thinking that the presure plate may be coming loose anybody have any ideas you can give me before i tear it apart i am a good mechanic and i have built many fox's im just curious if anyone has had a sim problem?

Check the most noticeable things first, motor mounts-make sure engine is actually sitting right, same with exhaust, perhaps its rubbing the frame. Those take a minute to check and can be certain just by looking at.
