ive been trying to figure out why my CEL is coming on when my car warms up, and i have a hunch, would my stock oil pressure gauge wire not being hooked up cause it, my reason for thinking is, if it warms up and it sees the oil press is too low when warm, it throws up the CEL?

no...obd 1 does not monitor such...you need to run a koeo/koer test and pull the memory codes

 

hmm, okay, just wondering, seemed semi possible that was the problem
