Hey PRO, one more thing. I just went to my local mustang shop and asked them about the 4cyl springs up front. The guy said he's definitely seen people do it, but he has heard that they are very bouncy, what do you think about them?

Yeah your gonna need caster camber plates no matter what spring you get, unless you want to change front tires every month or two. :-P It'll chew up the insides pretty quickly.

Her car rides very nice. It's not bouncy at all. Oh and you can usually find someone that has a used set lying around and pick them up for next to nothing. If you buy a new replacement set, they will look almost like your factory ones you have now and you'll be disappointed. I know someone that did that so I speak from experience.

Stock c/c plates also and so far there have been no issues w/ tire wear. If it starts, I'll put a set on though. Not a big deal to install.

I agree the ride with 4 cylinder springs does not have to be bouncy at all. If your struts are shot then it really does not matter which springs you use your ride wont be super.
In fact the constant rate of the 4 banger spring has *can* improve your handling, it is possible & older fox years the same springs were used in 4 bangers & v8 as far as I can tell... they had the exact spring rate for several of the model years and close rates for other years... I have asked on several forums if the uncompressed spring length in those years was the same and nobody knows so It seems that the same exact spring v8 & I4 so no reason to not use 4 banger spring...

The 4 banger spring rate is 370 for 1979 to 1992 and 400 for 1993
v8 fox mustangs used constant rate springs 1979 to 1984
1993 cobra used the same front spring as 1993 4 banger: 400 ft/lb
