What is the best brand of paint to use on a overall paint job? Dupont, BASF, PPG, etc.?

 

All three are great, your not going to have trouble with any of them. If I'm not mistaken BASF is really expensive.

They are all good paint. I believe that Ford uses PPG.

 

BASF sucks, Ford uses Sikkens

 

I know back in the day they used ditzler (which is ppg) and my dad has a 40th anniversary mustang tool box and it has PPG # for the paint on the back so I just assumed they used ppg. How long have they been using sikkens?
