I use a Fidenza alum FW and Centerforce clutch on my street/track car. I beat on it pretty hard. It revs up a little bit better. But, the trade off is that the rpm's drop a little faster during closed throttle. Life's full of trade offs.

I also use a Steeda clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster. I don't see that it's any better or worse than the Ford piece. Use whichever is cheaper.

When my dad took his motor to the machine shop to have it balanced he was told the guy at the machine shop he bought a billet steel flywheel because he was going to be revving over 6,000 rpm's and that guy told him he knew of some letting loose at a lower rpm than that. The clutch disk can explode also.
