if you want to make that kind of power and want it on demand try nitrous. you can reach the hp you want safely with the right set up. get the gas mileage of a stock 5.0 and the hp and speed when you need or want it

nitrous=crack!!! i'm one of those guys who read a lot. and i have read in multiple big inch ford building books that nitrous is not good for the bearings, rods crank, ect. i'd rather steer clear of any of that. i want n/a power. that is tru p.o.d. boosting would be cool dont get me wrong but its too much money to do and keep up with. i just want a nice street car.

N/A is an expensive way to go slow...
