Unhappy electric window problem

The passenger side window in my 1990 suddenly stopped working using either the D/S or P/S switch. There was no noise when i tried either switch so I thought( wrong ) that it was the motor. I hooked it directly to the battery and it worked fine up or down. Is there a fuse in the door I can check? Am I correct in thinking that the switch is not likely the problem, due to the fact that the window stopped working with both switches at the same time? Help Please!

pending on which switch usually controls the ground...which is often the master switch, it may have a bad master switch or passanger switch
