go with gt40 heads for the right price... if not go with the e7's they get 25 more horsepower then the e6's and even if you ported them i doubt it would be better then the e7's... but first off id go with the gt40's hands down

I also hear of people "unshrouding" the intake valve......is that meaning grind out the heart shaped combustion chamber to a more circular shape?

to the OP use the e7's and clean up the exhaust a little yourself. just dont get greedy. maybe even have the local shop do a good valve job on them

The valves are recessed in the heads on E6's which in itself hurts flow dramaticly. It shrouds the valves so bad no amount of porting can do much for them.
