shouldn't have anything to do with the internals, the gears are set to a case not to the car so if the whole case is swapped it should be fine, i've done it before as well like on my 83 i pulled my 8.8 from my 88 and put that in there no way was i wantin to stick with the 7.5.
well the diff i'm getting is from a new edge, my friend got it for his drag fox, so i'm assuming that i shouldnt have to do much to make it fit mine other than put my axles in. otherwise my diff is going into a 86 gt.

I think the New edges have 4 wheel ABS which mean's the brake lines are routed differently but now that I think about it, it may not be a problem. Also, your track width will be 1.5" wider than what you have now, again, it's probably a non issue running that wide on the SN95 but those axles are 1.5" wider each side than the Foxes.
i went from 2.73's to 4.30's in my fox.... WOW thats all i have to say. O and i have a 5 speed to, that sees some highway cruising, it isnt as bad as a lot of people make it out to be

hes using his stock axles... there wont be any change in his track width
