i had broke my maf a while back and got me another from a junkyard this guy told me it was from an mustang 5.0 but some of the numbers didnt match but i believed him. So right now i decided to check the numbers on my maf on google and i found a website where they have all ford maf #'s and the maf sensor i have is from a 3.8l windstar or mustang could this be causing the weird surge ive been getting

my friend bought a 87 gt and it had a computer for a 3.0 taurus in it.it run damn good but i dont know how

that maf IS your surging problem

thanks for info addermk2, gonna try an look for right maf sensor now see, if it fixes the problem cause i know i dont have any vac leaks,after so may times that i looked and checked it
