Well I'm putting the final touches to the 85 LX. I'm still waiting on my rear brake hose set up from Currie and my Manual Master Cyl to get here But I can see some light at the end of a long tunnel. I'm putting the fuel tank back in tommorow and installing the pump. Here are some underhood shots. I'm not much for flash and like things plain and simple so don't look for anything over complicated. It's about a raw and basic as it gets. I'm just not a bling bling kinda guy

If you look there are one of those plates on each side and one at the back where I deleted the AC, The aluminum plate used to be a Boy Scout fold down reflector oven. I cut them with a 30 dollar jig saw and put the swirls in with a couple of 3M Roloc Disc and a die grinder (could have done a better job and shot them with a can of Krylon clear. Grand total (not including the jig saw I already had) was about 5 dollars. Thats the stuff you do while waiting on the UPS man to get there with the next box of parts, lol

347, 11.0-1 Ported Victor Jr's (325 cfm@.600/77% on the exhaust) Ported Victor Jr intake, Custom Cam. Modified Holley HP 750, Mallory ignition, lots and lots of detail work on the internals

This is the money shot in the intake manifold. Lots of work represented here. Took out a lot of material to get it to flow with the heads. Even had to weld some spots back up and grind again. It;s the differance between running a Victor Jr that can out perform a out of the box Super Victor. I'm all about the stealth, lol
