which cobra r hood? there's a few of em. and yea they fit fine. once again why are you so worried about not clearing the dizzy?
cough** if a stock hood clears i'm sure the cobra r with a 2-2.5in cowl will clear.........

He said the stock hood wouldnt fit and that is why he went with the six in cowl. I am thinking the Cobra R with the 3" would look pretty cool. The way the motor is sitting in there it seems as though the angle of the hood might hit the distributor. I may be way off on this just going by what I think it looks like. I figure you guys may have run into this sort of thing before so I thought I would ask.

I traded the 6" cowl for a 2" cowl, I figured I would try it. I dont know what the last owner was talking about the hood fit fine....anyway I just got it registered the other day and was finally able to drive it. I have waited way too long to own a Mustang, I should have gotten one alot sooner.
