ok so this is for my buddies car. hes got a 90 GT that has been converted to an lx.. GT40 iron heads, edelbrock performer intake, F303 cam, 42#injectors (planning on a s/c soon)

anyway it starts fine when its cold but when it gets hot it just seems to crank over. if he puts the pedal to the floor it will start.. it idles fine, starter was just replaced.. im confused. does anyone have an idea on what it could be?

could be the iac stuck closed. next time he tries starting it and it wont smack the iac and try again. if it starts there is your problem
