Default Mixing Rocker Arm Brands

My brother has a set of FRPP RR's that have been sitting around for awhile and I have thought about buying them from him but one (maybe 2 I don't remember) of them came apart during their use so its not a full set. I can't find FRPP's sold individually like I can others though to make it a full set.

As long as they are the same rockers (1.6's, same size bolt, ped) it should be fine right even though its the same brand? I am thinking this is gonna be personal preferance with alot of people though....

Honestly I think a micrometer will be the best thing to answer this question for you. Measure them precisely and that will tell you if they are similar. Make sure the measurements are relative to performance and not just the shape of the rockers.

If two of them came apart during use on his car. Why would you want to use them on yours? -1 for Ford.

Justin they sell the frpp ones in sets of 2 if need be, back in the day I wasted 2 of them and was able to buy a pack of 2, you just have to call on them and specifically ask for the part number, frrp call the tech line and ask

Thanks Mike, I was sure somewhere they do sell separately I just havn't found them yet. I am gonna call my brother later tonight to see what he wants for them. I figured I might be able to get those plus the replacements for less than a set of proforms.
Tony, even if a couple of them came apart or not I would rather use name brand like FRPP than buy summit brand and what not (he could also use the money to put into his stroked 460 F150 since he just had his first kid ).

Proforms from summit are $175 or so (backed by Mikes word of approval lol). Summit sells the bolt on 1.6's from FRPP for $329.95.

Hey, I never advocated using Summit brand parts. Hell, I don't even like ordering from them except they deliver the next day being so close to me.

I'm using Comp Cams rockers.
