Better seal for boosted and nitrous applications. O ringed heads come with a receiver groove milled into them around the combustion chambers, I'm sure a machine shop could cut the groove too. You use loc wire head gaskets, they have a wire ring in them that fits into the receiver groove in the head.

That work for ya?

O-ring is for nitrous and boost as stated.

Its not to expensive to get done, and really hold's the pressure in better.

you can get it where both the block and head are o ringed, and that is the best set up. But from what ive read most ppl just o-ring the head and get a o-ringed gasket like i will do.

PM primetime. The head need's the bushing on the underside of the head by the look's of it. got any rocker studs btw?

If breaking bolts is all you are worried about, tap all the bolts with a hammer before removing them and use a 3/8s impact to get them out. At least get a used cam, we want to see you go fast!!!

Well ive never really had a issue with ANY bolt's on this car. even the control arm's and shocks and such. So i might get lucky.

Im thinking a trick flow stage 2 if it will fit with the stock piston's (which ive read it will)

here's the spec's on the Trick flow "stage 2"

Basic Operating RPM Range: 2,500-6,000
Advertised Duration: 286 int./294 exh.
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio:0.542 int./0.563 exh. lift

I think it will really waken it up. We are still in the process of getting a house. So ill just wait to build it up until we get settled. Slowly grab part's to do the cam and head's at the same time.
